The setup is simple if you already have a web server setup if not then just install docker and the rest is done. As for the client the android version has a cost where as the windows client is just a exe install then a quick config to connect to the server.i have a old laptop that's running the client that's then connected to a consumer grade TV via VGA and then I speaker system aswell. That sits in our main corridor

I've gone for the cloud-hosted demo. If I continued with cloud hosted is it as easy to connect up? We are looking at having these on walls in staff rooms so I'm not sure of the practicalities of wiring these up (VGA etc) rather than a solution over WiFi - if that is possible?

We needed a solution that could play our twitter feed fullscreen so we bit the bullet and paid the cash for https://screen.cloud/ which had an app store and can use Chromebots or Amazon Fire Sticks (which we use) on consumer displays.

 

After 3 years one screen has a slightly dimmed backlight.

 

I am looking for a cheaper solution such as Google slides but need way to do twitter in a pretty way.

£200 quid a year per screen is a lot of money for a twitter feed!
