Messa Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Does anyone have problems with these on the network? They were great when we first purchased them and now just don't seem to want to print from a client machine, but if we send a test page from the server it's fine. Thanks In Advance.
FatBoy Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I so wish I had found this the beginning of last week ! FYI unticking the bidirectional support worked for me excellent.
Messa Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Bidirectional support worked for me also the printers were back up in seconds. i also used the setting print after last page is spooled.
steve_nfi Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Do you have the drivers installed on that client machine.
Messa Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 It connects from our print server then installs the drivers from there.
timbo343 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 No problems with this printer at our end. We have about 5 of these too and get hammered every day
Sylv3r Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 No problems with this type of printer here thankfully. Although we have had a strange message this week when we added a new toner to 2 of our printers it now shows up something like non HP consumables installed. Even though they are HP branded and the ones we have bought for years. Printer still works fine although the status display on the printer now shows a "?" rather than the amount of toner remaining.
Messa Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 We have started to get this on a lot of our 4600n Printers.
