Will it be "always Winter, but never Christmas" or will Aslan smile at this idea?

 

The Narnia series is one of the few that I've re-read multiple times, so I'm quite excited by this - though it does sound a bit like intellectual asset stripping. The plans sound a bit vague, too. Will they do the books as films and have "World of..." TV shows? If they do the books, in what order? Still, maybe I'll finally get to see "The Magician's Nephew" on screen (my second favourite of the series). Whilst the sequels weren't quite as good the recent film of TLTW&TW ranks as one of my all-time favourite family films, so it's quite a high bar for Netflix.

I've always disliked the modern films.

 

If it's not the Old BBC TV adaptations, I've not been able to get into it.

 

If they produce some visually stunning shows that are more in keeping with that ethos then I'll be delighted.
