School Cash Office 2.4 : Online Reports not exporting to CSV via Smoothwall

When we try to export reports using the routine:

 

Reports

Online reports

Online Payments report

Ok

Export to CSV

 

We get a blank Excel Document

 

Even the Tucasi Report viewer states:

 

Navigation to the webpage was canceled

 

What you can try:

Refresh the page.

 

 

 

If we change the proxy in IE from our smoothwall address to proxy.schoolname.gloucs.sch.uk:8080 the report viewer page is still blank but the CSV gets created fine.

 

I've added exceptions in our smoothwall for 193.200.80.94 & scopay.com both in filtering and do not inspect policies and it's still not working.

 

Anyone any ideas?

This can sometimes be an environmental setting which needs amended on the PC (I have seen this in the past and can confirm that some schools have this setting disabled by school’s IT group policy).

 

 

This can be fixed by following:

 

 

• Open up IE
  
• Internet Options
  
• Advanced Tab
  
• Scroll-down to Security section and look for an check-box called ‘Do not save encrypted pages to disk’
  
• This check-box needs to be ‘Unticked’

We had to add http://www.scopay.com into Auth Exceptions group on our Smoothwall to fix the issue.
