MuffinCat Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Hi all, I've been tasked with locating an installer for a very simple audio system for a small-ish, open-plan primary school meeting area / hall. The school is in west Kent so we're looking for installers who will operate in that region. The building has not yet been constructed, so we're also looking for a company who have the acoustic knowledge and confidence to take on this sort of work from plans (and discussion). Google yields plenty of potential company results (see below for a sample), but quality control is a concern. We were hoping to find 3 to quote in detail for the work, but would like to narrow this down with some recommendations if possible. If anyone has companies that they would recommend for this kind of work in this region (or any that they wouldn't!) that would be extremely helpful! Thanks in advance, Paul AV installer links we've come across: https://www.premierelec.co.uk/system-installation/audio-visual https://www.cdec.co.uk/sectors/education/ https://www.10outof10.co.uk/html/installation.html http://www.avenueservices.co.uk/ https://staceymusic.co.uk/pa-paging-systems.html http://audiocrew.net/wp/index.php/sales-and-installation/ http://www.electronicaudiosystems.co.uk/commercial-and-industrial-sound http://www.datechsolutions.co.uk/av-installations http://www.bhsound.co.uk/buy-or-install/installations/ http://www.rkdosoundandlight.co.uk/services.html https://www.oldbarnaudio.co.uk/installations/sound-systems-for-schools/

MuffinCat Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 Thanks for the continued responses. Really are very, very useful to us (and perhaps others in the future). Appreciate all the help!
SamanthaD Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 I have no hesitation in recommending GV Multimedia - they're our primary supplier and we have a great working relationship with the local team. Your local office is Hounslow but I'd bet there are local guys who will come on site and work with your architects and other suppliers. Well worth a look.
