Secure E-Mail system

Any recommendations. We use Office 365, but after a secure email system. Our local council use Egress.

 

Need two more for quote purposes. It will be for approx 10/15 users.

Offers Office365 authentication integration. We get it FoC as a bundle from LGfL, but I believe that it can be bought separately.

Does the office 365 work in outlook? It looks like it only works in OWA? Or am I misreading it?

It does work in Outlook, depending on which version of Office you have installed depends on how seamless it is.

 

If you are running Office 2013/2016 and receive an encrypted e-mail via the Office 365 OMEv2 method, it will ask you to login to the OWA to access the mail.

We found that using the Office 365 Click to Run install of Office removes that requirement and displays it in just the same manner as in OWA.

 

As for sending encrypted e-mails, again slight difference between the versions of Outlook. In 2013/2016 it is the Do Not Forward Permission, but in OWA/Office365 Outlook it has it correctly labelled as Encrypt. We have a mail rule setup so any outgoing mail that has the subject line starting with Encrypt automatically gets sent with the OMEv2 Encryption.
