AydenLeitch Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 (edited) We have a fresh install of HAP and everything appears to be working as intended, the only issue I'm having currently is that on My Files we currently have a mapping to the users %homedir%. When trying to browse this mapping no files appear, however, I can upload documents and create new folders and they show up locally. Any help will be appreciated. Mr.Ben Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Hi Ayden - Did you work this out? - I'm seeing the same issue on a site
mulderite Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 Just in the early stages of experimenting with HAP+ and I'm getting exactly this issue as well. Test user can log in but map to %homedir% is not showing any files (it just has an animated banner scrolling across the top of the screen as if it is retrying). Can anyone update me on a fix for this? Many thanks.

CRizzio Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Just setup version 10.6 and I am having the same issue. Before I try Mulderite's solution did anyone find a fix for this issue on v10.6? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Chuck R.
CRizzio Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Well, I've got to get this up and running so I am going to proceed with Mulderite's solution. I will post the results back here for others.
CRizzio Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Well my attempt at installing and using version 10.5 was a total failure. I followed the exact same processing that I followed to setup 10.6 but ran into a lot of errors. I gave up after spending most of today fighting with it and went back to 10.6. I was able to quickly get it setup but still have the issue with "My Files" mappings not showing any files. It shows the name of the mappings I set up but none of the mappings show any files. It looks like I may have to abandon using HAP+ and search for another solution. Nick, if you are reading this I would really like to stay with HAP+ as it did everything I needed it to. Please give me some suggestions here.
Wolvern-Al Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Hi, I know this was a while ago now but did you get/find a solution to this problem? I have set up previous versions of HAP ok but also having a similar issue in MyFiles. I am using a different server for hosting HAP, still 2012 R2 and wondered if I needed to delegate permissions, SETSPN etc. to allow the IIS server to access the file server. Al.

Wolvern-Al Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Brilliant thanks. I would have used Server 2016 or 2019 but I had issues before and binned it off. So looking at your guide and the other info I have read lots of people having issues with 10.6. Have deleted the 10.6 and installed 10.5 and it now works! All that time lost yesterday. Have you tried upgrading to 10.6 from 10.5? I probably wont do it unless there is something important to be gained.

Wolvern-Al Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 fair enough, all working now, thanks for the assistance.
nickbro Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 10.6 should really only be used if you stick HAP+ behind AzureAD AppProxy
