Brilliant thanks. I would have used Server 2016 or 2019 but I had issues before and binned it off. So looking at your guide and the other info I have read lots of people having issues with 10.6. Have deleted the 10.6 and installed 10.5 and it now works! All that time lost yesterday. Have you tried upgrading to 10.6 from 10.5? I probably wont do it unless there is something important to be gained.

I am using a different server for hosting HAP, still 2012 R2 and wondered if I needed to delegate permissions, SETSPN etc. to allow the IIS server to access the file server. Al.

In fact the behaviour when you login is exactly the same, the page just keeps refreshing. Either frantically clicking the MyFiles icon or entering /myfiles in the address bar gets you too the My Files section but then you get access denied when you trying to click on Home Directory or a Mapped drive. This happens when logged on as a domain admin (with a home directory set for testing) or normal staff user.

Hi, Did you get to the bottom of this? I have just carried out a new deployment on Server 2016 and had exactly the same issue. I managed to get past this issue by adding Local Login rights for All Staff into the Default Domain Controllers Policy, not happy about this however it appeared to solve this problem but then left me with another issue on a separate thread which My Files just shows dots scrolling across the screen but never loads either Home directory or Mapped drive.
