h4ider98 Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Hello, We are currently having an issue when trying to update the firmware for an older Promethean board, the problem is that the when following the conventional method (active manager - upgrade - load) nothing happens. when looking for drivers for the activeboard 500 Pro nothing shows up on internet either. The boards product code is ABV587PR0. The current firmware version is v8.51 and the active inspire version being used is 2.11. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
ShellfishClive Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Try reinstalling the driver? If you press load it should let you point to a directory. Could something like APPLocker be blocking it? 1

If you allow this site: http://www.activsoftware.co.uk/update You should see the update. If you contact Promethean support with the serial number of the ActivBoard they will be able to send you a link to the correct firmware. Thanks 1
