Home Network Setups

Hi All

 

Im sure this has been posted many times but how do you guys have your home networks setup currently thinking of setting up mine from stretch as an old file server i had died

I've got a fairly normal home network at home.

Unifi edge router and WAP mounted in the middle of the living room. Cat6 to the TV/AV system and the spare room/study (easier than moving the phone line), a couple of netgear switches.

A qnap nas running mostly as a media server, and one/google drive for sharing files between computers/laptops/tablets etc.

Apart from photos/videos/music, I'm fairly cloud based.

 

I want to get a second nas to run as a mirrored backup.

yeah im thinking of cloud storage just finding the right one as it can get really exspensive
