How many printers do you have in total and do you pay a leasing fee?

The offer they are providing are better than what we have now as we purchased our printers outright which means we are stuck with them.

We've got three printers where we don't pay anything for the hardware (no purchase or lease, 4p/colour page), the rest are larger copiers which we lease (2p/colour page).

Are the larger printers leased with a different company than the smaller ones?

Also how many printers do you have altogether?

Sorry for bombarding you with these questions - just want to make sure we a re getting a reasonable price.

We use a different company for the larger printers (we got the smaller printer company to quote but they were 2nd place when we scored the tender). We've got about 10 smaller printers that we own hanging around (where we buy the toner ourselves, when one of these dies it's replaced with one of the "no purchase or lease, pay per copy" printers), 3 that we pay per copy but don't own or lease, then about 10 leased larger devices (where the volumes we print make it cheaper for us to pay for the leasing costs in order to get the much cheaper price per page than it would be to just pay for the usage)

We lease all our photocopiers on three year.

As for network printers all my printers are provided at no cost, parts and next day fix provided, no cost per page, I simply pay for the toner, eg 12,500 yield I pay £80 - I can then pass that cost onto the department. Not for everyone, but I find it easier to manage the budget.

what kind of maintenance contract can you get with printers? is it like warranty with manufacturer or maintenance with manufacturer or third party? any companies in london you know that provide this. we are thinking of buying outright 15mfp and doing in house to save the 50k/yr

next day fix sounds nice, obviously not using konica minolta like us then  . care to share the company?

Been using Konica Minolta for years now and have a five year lease as we are so confident the kit lasts. Quiet often we get an engineer the same day we call! usually next day though. We take the attitude with the few printers we have that they are disposable items as they cost so little.

We least our fleet of big Kyocera printers and copiers. They are pretty reliable and good quality, the copiers run PaperCut and are security badge enabled with everything being accounted for.

We pay a lease charge and meter clicks.

The company is Swift and their service is good, always same day or next day.

They replace all the usual parts, drum fuser as part of the service.

I have no contract with them, I can leave when I want and they will come and collect all the printers. I'll PM the company info
