evasion Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 About to roll out Share Point pilot for Curriculum site collection (including all subsites with unique permissions etc) and finding it difficult or rather limited when trying to edit a web page. What I mean here is that any web page can only be edited in very basic way. Limited options only. For example I have included a long text file with headings/paragraphs I'd like to create table of contents at top of the page and links (anchors) to various paragraphs to make navigation easier. Any advice welcome - maybe I am missing some kind of editing tools or am I just expecting too much from Share Point 2016 online?
jslate1980 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Look at mosaic from https://www.livetiles.nyc. It’s free to schools and provides an easy way to create feature rich content. I built my school intranet using it and am impressed on what it can do.
evasion Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 thanks, but not sure third party software is available to download any more...no obvious links
jslate1980 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 The link is here https://www.livetiles.nyc/mosaic-lp/ you need to sign up with your office 365 email. Once registered they send you the link to download. 2
jslate1980 Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Here is a screenshot of what I have put together for my school with the product. It is easy to use and you don't need to have any knowledge of html or css. 2
evasion Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 I like the look of that portal. Now I have activation detail and about to complete installation, just a bit worried about running them scripts on O365 .
