Remote Access to PS Financials

Afternoon,

 

I'm looking for a bit of advice on providing a solution for users from other sites to access our PS Financials server.

 

What can you suggest is the most straight forward option. The outcome needed is that a user whether on site or external can use PS Financials.

I've never done a RDC/Web app or even a VPN connection before,so looking for advice.

 

I do have a 3rd level support in place but those are telling me that they won't do it because it isn't one of their servers and the usual blah blah blah you get with managed services.

A Couple of Options, is the PS Financials Server Windows based?

Do you have access to your Firewall to open Ports?

Yes Server 2012R2

VMware too

 

Yes I should have access to the firewall.

We use RemoteApps to give users access to SAGE remotely.

You may have this sorted now but we have PS Financials and have a second school using our PSF server if you wanted a bit more info on how we have set it up feel free to message me.

Our PSF has always been in the psfcloud since we moved away from sap. Available anywhere with Remote Desktop app even though we do have RemoteApp.
