Curious to know what people are doing for their AV on Macs,

We only have the 5 Macs at the moment, would it be easier to have just a single free AV on each? Or does anyone know a good Enterprise one?

But everyone knows Mac's dont get viruses?!? :getmecoat:

We did have the free Sophos on our few before we nuked them. Didn't seem worthwhile buying a managed one for a few, but then we use SCEP so the main lot were that (Guess it might be different if you have another paid managed one)

I didn't realise that SCEP works on Macs, do you have to connect them to SCCM? I'll have to have a look into how to integrate the Macs into SCCM then.

MacOS has basic anti malware built in called X Protect. Its signature based, so no heuristics, but do not think your Mac has no protection because you have not installed any AV.

Yeah... kinda. Apparently its ESET underneath but there's little info about it really.

No, you can download a standalone installer from MSVLC and install: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b50ad468-fad2-4296-a51f-001452b56a53/scep-and-mac?forum=configmanagersecurity

Apparently you can push this out with sccm if you do connect your mac to the site: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/jchalfant/deploying-system-center-endpoint-protection-to-mac-os-x-using-configuration-manager/

There's also talk about it reporting back to sccm but I can't find the blog anymore :/
