Hello guys and gals

i am trying to find somewhere that sells reversed switches, what i mean by that is a push switch that triggers on release. For some more context i work at a SEN school where we use switches but we are looking at using a switch that needs to be released to send a momentary signal.

Does anyone know if this type of switch exists and if so where to buy it from within the uk.

Also sorry if this belongs in a different thread.

(on) off (on) is the nomenclature you are looking for I think from your description. Some more info on what you are trying to do might help tie it down somewhat. ie mains, alarm, signal, push button or toggle...

its for a child whos only form of movement is using his head and to encourage him to keep his head in a raised position i am hoping for a switch that you press but then completes the circuit upon release but only momentarily. i know its a very odd way of switches working but thought you guys may be able to help.

the tricky part is that it needs to only trigger momentarily on release as some devices if the circuit is complete all the time will flip out and keep triggering until the circuit isn't complete
