If you go to the main Microsoft stand they can direct you, very friendly bunch! You have to go upstairs on the back wall to the second floor suite 7, the corridor goes on forever! Good luck!

 

Just turn up and they’ll let you sit without pre-registration. @Joanne did more than one in a day last time they did this.

Just check each day on the site and it states Sale Ended. Very odd.

No need to book. I just walked up at 10.30 this morning and took the 98-349 exam with no booking. Passed! There's about 30 places in the room, only 6 were taken when I arrived. Hope that helps

That's good to hear! So how does the test go is it just a multiple choice questions and answers? I've never done anything like this before so have no ideas myself.

 

Also the exam you did, have you got to have full knowledge of Windows 10? Here we are on Windows 7 and I only use, have played about with 10 at home.

If it's MTA certs, they're fairly basic so I wouldn't sweat it. Multiple choice and looking on their page there's the chance to complete practise exams before the real thing.

It took about 40 minutes for the exams I did, although I'm sure that varies depending on the exam. Got these three today

First exams for me too. The MTA course was multiple choice, the Word and Outlook Specialist exams that I also did required you to do tasks. Regarding the MTA that I did you should be fine if you've got a solid Win7 knowledge, the specific Win10 questions may catch you out but just require some common sense really.

I tried 3 exams and passed 2, I reckon the other one was touch and go as well!

I passed the Server Admin fundamentals, only had about 5 minutes left but the guy said I could go for another if I was quick. I went for the Networking Fundamentals even though I knew it was a bit of a long shot (Subnet masking confuses the hell out of me..) and failed by something like 3 marks the guy said Should've gone with the Windows OS fundamentals, but c'est la vie. There's always next year, hopefully!
