Adobe Reader DC - Not displaying all my printers, only the default

We have distributed Adobe Reader DC v2018-009-20050 across the site in order to try and resolve the same issue with Adobe Reader XI but there is still no change.

I can logon to a PC in the Staffroom and see that there are 4 print queues assigned to the PC and all the print queues are available in a multitude of applications with the exception of Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is only giving us the option to print to the default printer on the machine. If I change the default printer for the machine then it gets changed the next time I open reader.

This has been replicated in various locations across the site but cannot find any solutions.

Please advise.

Thanks

I assume these are networked printers/queues shared from a print server(s) rather than locally attached ones.

How are you adding your printers?

We had something similar a few years back. But it only happened for printers added by GPO, if we added the printers manually or through a script (vbs or con2prt) they were picked up fine.

You tried it with protected mode disabled? Had it before with protected getting upset by some drivers/network names etc

Steve

Thanks for the suggestion.

I shall give it a test today and let you know how I get on.
