You will also ensure that the system is developed to meet the needs of the school, enabling senior leaders to make informed decisions and judgements using the full functionality of the MIS platform and associated SQL database. • Setting up all required class lists and groups, for academic and activity use and undertaking all ongoing revisions to data such as timetable changes

• Developing the use of the ‘Parent Portal’ as an effective means of communication with the parents

• Liaising with the senior IT staff to coordinate the integration between the database and other current and future school databases and systems

• Maintaining and developing links and data flows between the school’s data systems

• Liaising with third party software vendors on maintenance issues and any specialist requirements

• Monitoring completion of all data entry stages by all relevant participants, undertaking any necessary amendments of reports, etc, and preparing report distributions for checking to Heads of Department and for issuing to School Management Team, Heads of School and Form Tutors

• Using information from users and iSAMS in relation to errors, development requests, and problems encountered and undertaking troubleshooting of MIS system software and services

• Auditing and documenting the system configuration to ensure correct allocation of functions and permissions and undertake annual data integrity checks to ensure system accounts match AD accounts

• Working closely with the IT manager to perform updates and developmental projects
