rad Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Walt Disney buys Murdoch's Fox for $52.4bn - BBC News So Walt Disney now own 39% of Sky!
sted Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 well id rather have disney own sky than the murdochs but it does give them more money which isnt good. But you do wonder at what point a company becomes too big as if disney went bust tomorrow (yes its very unlikely) how many people would it directly and indirectly put out of a job. Not to mention i doubt films like say deadpool would get made with disney in charge its far too family unfriendly
LeMarchand Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Walt Disney buys Murdoch's Fox for $52.4bn - BBC News So Walt Disney now own 39% of Sky! It should also mean that the X-Men, The Fantastic Four (and related characters) can appear in MCU films.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Not to mention i doubt films like say deadpool would get made with disney in charge its far too family unfriendly My guess is that they will continue to release such films under the Fox Studios brand, whilst bringing a rebooted X-Men and Fantastic Four over to a unified MCU. It could mean excellent things ahead!

CAM Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Apparently Aliens is included in the deal as well. Every Xenomorph is now a Disney Princess. Snow White and the Seven Facehuggers anyone? 1
