Bradcooper Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Hello, We currently have an issue with a smart board, when you login as a user, you can use the interactive touch for a minute or so, then it will stop working and will think your touching the top left of the smart board. It is not a board or cable issue we think as we have tried a different Board and a Different USB cable. We are running windows 10 - happens on any machine we plug into the board, as I said we tried different boards issue persists. Anyone had this issue? Thanks Brad.
atcoates Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Are the drivers/software/firmware all up to date?
Bradcooper Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 We are currently running 11.4 due to prices of up to date software.
atcoates Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Not sure what boards you have etc but these may help as you can still download new drivers etc https://support.smarttech.com/en/downloads/product-drivers/12_9-and-ink-5_2
Techykev Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Hi, Are they SB680 boards? If you've tried different boards and different cables/PC's then have you tried the board after removing the two mounting screws at the bottom of the board? I have seen issues in the past by these screws earthing the board to the wall where there is (usually) foil backed insulation inside the wall. If this is your problem then the answer is to wrap the screws/mounts with insulation tape to isolate the metal screws from the metal mountings, the newer boards are now shipped with plastic "grommets" to prevent this.
