[ms office - 2016] Powerpoint slow printing!

We have gone over to office 2016 now in our school and started to have issues with PowerPoint printing really slow (1 page per 5 minutes) but prints fine from Word. It's a HP LaserJet Pro 300 conected via USB on 2 different machines but it's really slow from PowerPoint??

No, could be a blank one with just a little text or it could have photos on it, it just throws out a page every 5 minutes??

When it spools through the printer what size are the documents?

Any joy with File>Options>Advanced and change some of the printer settings there to see if they effect the spooled size?

64kb was one of them!

That points to the printer being the problem as it just can't process them efficiently. I'd blame HP! Anything on the printer settings? I assume if you save the presentation as a PDF and print it, it comes through at normal speed?

Powerpoint can be funny with this sometimes, usually when its a large file however, I would agree with you and save it to a PDF and then print that - it will always work better!
