Hi there,

I'm an IT technician in multiple schools, and one in a trust has asked me to find them a way to send out bulletin notifications to teachers within the school, without it being to complex (as I'm sure you all know what teachers are like).

I found one from a company called Syn-Apps but they never got back to my email enquiring about the software and cost.

What I need is something that looks half decent, is easy for a head-teacher to open, key in what they want to say, then send it out to the staff so they can check a box to get it off the screen to make sure they read it and can't get away with 'it didn't pop up' or something along those lines.

Thanks for the help - Stag

Netsupport Notify can do this - We use it in reception to let the staff their send messages out to teachers (They can see where they are logged in) & also we use it when we're having an issues that we want to notify staff quickly about.

Can record who's viewed messages & schedule them.

Easy to use, as I say our reception staff use it with virtually no training :)

+1 For NetSupport Notify, since we don't have phones in the classrooms the Office Staff love being able to quickly send messages and see when the teacher acknowledges it.

I'm sure @Al_NetSupport will be able to point you in the right direction, It's a shame you missed their recent offer to get a free copy!

Thank you, looks like Tom has already assisted. Although we have our classroom management specific tools, feedback was that a school notification system needed to be something separate that all staff could access and could (most importantly) track what was sent and provide a history of those recipients that actually got it.

Just done this brochure if it helps, of course easier to justify if tool can be used for lockdown situations as well as daily comms ;) Hope that helps.

yeah ours use it to chase down staff that haven't done their first register within 10 minutes of lesson start (Else our absense system kicks in)

If you want a simple teacher proof product get net support notify. It cost peanuts and you can justify any cost by getting the attendance office onboard and have it as part of emergency lockdowns.
