We have recently re-imaged all machines to Windows 10 (1703). We now seem to have issues with all our smartboards (various models). When the desktop loads the board is interactive. As soon as smart ink loads the board becomes unresponsive when trying to drag/select anything on the desktop. The pens do work fine though. Have tried various drivers. This is only happening with Windows 10 (1703). Has anybody had this issue?

Hi CommodoreSIMG-20170914-WA0000.jpg

I have updated the latest drivers that you listed. The drag now works but notebook will now not open (i have attached error message). Unfortunately i cannot remove framework 4.7 as its built into windows 1703.

We were having this issue on 1703 and we noticed that disabling the smart board service fixed the mouse / touch respond again. Obviously this broke the pens

Updating to the latest drivers available from smart board website has fixed this problem for us. We are still using Notebook 11.4 working fine so far. we had issues with dot net 4.7 but only on windows 7 clients so far.

Its very odd. With the older drivers it works fine. Then as soon as smart ink kicks in the mouse/touch response stops. Only smart ink works. When you touch the screen you do see a tiny flicker in the top left of the screen. Updating to the latest drivers fixes the issue but then notebook breaks. Hopefully smart will have a fix for this :(

If your using 15.1 I am guessing your not paying for the latest version so I very much doubt Smart will offer you any support for this old version.

To see if the problem is specifically with 15.1 I would try going back to 15.0 or 14.x or moving forward to a later version of 15 if the keys you have let you.

Issue is now solved. I installed Notebook 15.2 (which our license still covered). I then installed latest drivers and hooray all working nicely :) Thanks again for everyones help on here.
