im having an odd issue with word docs that have been emailed. When people download them (not all but all on that office 365 tenant that i tried) certain parts of tables dont have data in and are not editable selectable. the same email forwarded to my account edits fine on my laptop. i can save the file to the network thats loaded 100% fine on my laptop to the other users network space and its still missing cell data even changing the file format or copy and pasting it to another document dosent show those cells. They do show however if the user edits it in word online directly in the email.

any ideas as im stumped. no funny fonts nothing really clever about the document as far as i can tell its just a standard word doc with a table (as teachers seem to be allergic to excel)

sorry for the blurred images i hope the point still gets through

on my laptop (non domained personal laptop)

Hi

We're getting this too - did you find the cause? For me they work fine at home on Office 365 (installed, not web) but in school not (Office 2016). Told them to save as PDF for now if editing by other people is not needed.

Thank you! I realise now if I'd done a cursory search I'd have got the answer. I hadn't had time to research at all but just happened to see this thread
