Ready...steady...GO! - Who's ready for Monday?

Back today. So far the usual password stuff. Nothing that exciting.

Have just been asked to put stuff up on Sharepoint...not really my job - now, do I smile sweetly and do it or not??

Not handling having everyone back to well, and the dumping of extra stuff our way that we knew nothing about, and I mean nothing at all.

 

Actually not feeling to well today, which isn't helping, lots of excess acid and antacids are not making a dent.

 

May slip home at lunch and chill out.

so - it's Wednesday and I have just about completed all but one of the 'must do on Monday' jobs

 

when is Half term????

I had the most surreal feeling in the world ever on Monday with it being my first year not working in education!

 

No logins

No last minute imaging

No snagging issues due to rubbish contractors (weirdly the most I generally see of contractors these days is when they visit the office to borrow keys / want to remote onto a server!)

 

...and no restriction whatsoever in taking annual leave in September!

 

I realise all the above makes my new job sound a walk in the park, it isn’t sadly but just the thought of everyone returning made me reflect on how much I had to juggle over summer / September!

I got called over to the other side of the school site today by a new member of staff because she couldn't print as there was a box that wouldn't "close". "Are you sure you want to print in color?" box, it was a yes/no option... My term has been a busy start.
