Popular Post GrumbleDook Posted September 1, 2017 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2017 Well, well ... pinch, punch, first of the month! It's all change in the @GrumbleDook office. After a fun and enjoyable year with the team at Mobile Guardian, I've only gone and moved on … and it took my dream job being offered to me to make me move!!!! What on earth could entice me away from a world of being hands-on with kit again, getting back in and working with schools, training partners and generally having a fun time? No, I am not the Steve Jobs stand-in for the next Apple Special Event. No, I am not chief chocolate taster at Hotel Chocolat (that isn't based near me … so I missed out on that one). No, the Lego Professorship didn't interest me that much (I have a daugher who is a self-proclaimed Master builder … nothing I built would be worthy of her approval). Well, some of you may have noticed my badged has changed from Supporter to Sponsor. Yep, @maturelady has ground me down (ok, she said some nice things about me) and I've taken up her kind offer of Operations Manager at GDPR in Schools!!!! I'll be able to discuss more areas of GDPR with you all now, over at the Data Protection & Information Handling sub-forum (sponsored jointly by GDRPiS and GroupCall) and hopefully this means we can help get more answers for you from suppliers, DfE, ICO, etc. So what are you waiting for? Go on … get over there and ask more questions. Pull up a chair, break open the EduHobNobs and let the chin wagging start. As always, if there are areas you can't divulge publicly then drop us a line via gdpr.school and we can have a proper chat. 25

GrumbleDook Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 Congratulations - again- Tony! I'm starting to feel that I should have one of these messages saved in a template somewhere Can't think of a better chap for the job I try to do 3-5 years in a given role ... I had been doing well ... but this was too good a chance to miss. Going to miss the Mobile Guardian folk though ... as an MDM I really think it has a heck of a lot to offer. 1
