6Foot2 Posted January 3, 2024 Author Posted January 3, 2024 Link: Error spotted on new Chelmsford road sign - BBC News An obvious spelling mistake has been spotted on a new large city road sign. The sign on the A131, on the outskirts of Chelmsford, shows the city as "Chelmsord" without an "f". Essex County Council apologised to residents for the "unfortunate mistake". It confirmed the error, which was not present at the design stage, appeared during printing and a replacement sign would be "installed as soon as possible". Seriously! They couldn't give an "f" 1
