W10 - Right click start menu items

I am agonisingly close to have my Windows 10 deployment ready, however I have a 3 things left to work out which is driving me mad!

 

1. When logged on, student users are able to right click items in the start menu, and from the "More" menu can then access "Open file locations". This takes them to the share for redirected desktops/start menus, and they are then able to click the server name from the address bar at the top and start browsing other shares - any ideas how to disable the right click start menu items. I cant find a GP anywhere!

 

2. Despite having redirected start menus, "Connect", "Cortana", "Microsoft Edge" and "Get Help" still appear. Is there any way to get rid of these?

 

3. Remove the Search magnifying icon to the right of start? I have disabled Cortana so it is now just Windows Search but with some clever searches you can get access to the local drive via this. Wierdly if I log in as local admin this search magnifying class is not there but it is for all domain users.

Deploy the following registry value through GPP to hide the search icon.

1. Depending on the type of profiles you use, you can customise the right-click context menu and delete the entries you don't want. In my mandatory profiles the entries are within Groups nested in the Appdata - the only items that remain are File Explorer and the Sign Out options.

I have the context menu sorted and deleted the items not needed, its disabling the ability to right click Internet Explorer for example, and disabling the menu that shows

I use Applocker to kill Edge off. Is there really any issue with them poking around the filesystem if no sensitive information is kept there/share security is right? It's obviously not ideal, but they shouldn't be able to do much even if they can look around the C drive (and the old Word hack still works regardless)
