SpaceInvader83 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Hi all, We've been offered some Viewsonic 65" touchscreens at a very good price, sub £1500, has anyone had any experience with them? I'm not sure whether to pay the extra £500 and go for Clevertouch, would cost £4k more in total so the saving would be a good amount. Thanks, Simon
NB9457 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 If the warranty and supplier are good, I can't see a reason not to give them a go. Viewsonic have made displays for years, so they're not exactly a new company. Maybe try and ask for a Demo?

Thanks, Simon I can't really comment on the viewsonic product but would be more than happy to arrange a BenQ demo as an Edu-geek sponsor. We should be able to offer a competitive quote and we've installed thousands of screens in to schools over the last five years (and before that projectors / monitors). If you want any info or a quote for comparison then feel free to drop me a DM. 2
VeryPC_Ross Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Hi @spr thanks for contributing to EduGeek. If you’d like an off board, vendor neutral chat through pricing, pros, and cons of various manufacturers’ options I’d be delighted to help 1
ComcenCraig Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I have worked with pretty much every Touchscreen manufacturer there is as each school is different and has different requirements and needs from their touchscreens. Bar maybe one or two products it is a really solid market and can't really go much wrong with whatever you choose and that does include Viewsonic. It's a strong product, well priced with a good warranty.
