bondbill2k2 Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Currently going through the process of creating mandatory profiles for students before rolling out Windows 10 this summer, so far I've stripped out most the Provisional packages from the image and removed those originally deployed to the administrator, I've created the unattended.xml required and ran the sysprep to create the new default profile but I'm still getting 200Mbish! Over 50Mb was just Onedrive app files which I manually deleted without any noticeable side effects. Having read several articles on here on large profiles with Win10 I was wondering what sort of acceptable size people had managed and if possible some details on how you achieved this? Edit: Should add we are using Win10 Education
Guest mrtems1 Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 It's 200mb after you have used the "CopyTo" function? Because it should dramatically reduce in size when you do this. I believe ours is about 5-6Mb, though I'll have to check tomorrow.
Asgard Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 (edited) Ours weighs in at 5.4mb on 1511 Enterprise. Have a nose in the Appdata/Office folder IMHO it's full of junk that the majority of it can just go [emoji106] Similar if you ran AdobeCC as part of setting the profile up most of that can go. Will give the copy to a go today!
mrbios Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 894kb on ours. Whether I made it right i don't really know, but it works and apart from a printing issue (doubt that's related) I've got no other problems to mention.
