Mac Mini Display output

Hello,

 

I have a Mac Mini which we use for managing iPads at a school,

 

The display has recently become a bit of an issue where we were using an adapter to convert it to DVI into a screen, its no longer outputting anything i have tried using different adapters, new cables and new screens but to no avail.

 

Is there a way to check its outputting at all as we left it for a week and it then randomly worked then the next week it had stopped again?

Assuming it has HDMI as we'll get a HDMI to DVI cable.

 

May be the DisplayPort that is broken
