Davit2005 Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 IPv6 seems pretty scarce on o2 or is it jus my device Samsung A3 . Any one able to get to IPv6 only websites from their mobiles using 3G/4G please let me know. Cheers.
r0cketbev Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I am on EE and have no IPv6 yet. But according to this site http://test-ipv6.com EE is ready for it and so is my phone (iPhone 6s+) 1
r0cketbev Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I haven't according to the site I posted. Only IPv4. How did you test localzuk. How did you test as it would be interesting to know if that site is telling porkies
localzuk Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I used that site as well. Bear in mind that EE isn't just a single network - it is made up of the Orange and T-Mobile networks, but both renamed EE. Last I heard, they were rolling it out but it wasn't fully completed. 1
JordanT91 Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 Just tried my Nexus 5 (spare phone) Plusnet on ipv6-test.com. Plusnet uses EEs network, and according to the website my ISP is Orange GPRS. No IPv6 connectivity.
Davit2005 Posted June 15, 2017 Author Posted June 15, 2017 (edited) I have a 3G/4G USB dongle, might try and get a EE data sim as a test. Although looks like only postpaid contracts are supported. Edited June 15, 2017 by Davit2005
