Hi All,

 

 

A teacher has brought this memory chip in he picked up at auction,

On the back of the frame its got Apollo 11 scribbled on, doesnt seem legit but there we go.

 

Anyone recognize this? Looks like bank 4 hasnt been added/completed.

 

Not sure whats on the back yet.

 

Heres another pic to get the idea on how huge it is, thats a 3.5" HDD on top

I guessed 70/80s so fairly good, computers in the 90 were big but dont remember seeing anything this big in them.

 

Just trying to find out how much memory it has, may even have 2/3kb on it.

 

Very interesting results when you start searching for this kind of stuff. Reading through the old magazines, found articles on Intel planning on putting 8 processors in one server.

A long shot, but i was thinking maybe an arcade ROM.

 

Google doesn't bring any results for Apollo II tho.
