getting info via blue tooth

hello,

does anyone know of any software that would be able to access a blue tooth devices (mobile phone) and grab files from it. BYPASSING THE PASSCODE.

it would have to work on an xp machine, i know there is a lot out for macs but not sure for windows.

any help would be appreciated

yeh its just gonna be my phone i jus wana do it to broaden my knowledge;)

and also is their a program u can use on mobile phones (samsung U600)

yeh...me too...hell if someone leaves their bluetooth on they deserve things getting pilfered!

Surely that's why Bluetooth standards have been updated to combat this security threat?

 

By default though, older mobile phones (for example) don't have this security option and may even have Bluetooth switched on by default!

Yes, but it's possible to brute force crack them. All you need is a packet capture of the device talking to something else. Here's a video.
