Sophos Central and Intercept X now free for LGfL Schools

Intercept X is only for Desktops.

They have Central Server Advanced which includes cryptoguard for the intercept x features - have to pay for this tho

Hi,

 

Intercept X only works with Sophos Central not with the on premise version of the endpoint. Secondly the Central is not a web or cloud based endpoint and is still locally hosted on the desktop but the management system is hosted in the cloud.

 

The key difference is that the servers are licensed separately in Sophos Central VS on premise .
