Folks,

I'm really hoping to get some local ammunition to retain the temporary position created last year to 'cope with increased' demand with AV etc.

Thanks in advance.

1300 pupils (ish), 700 computers (including 250 student laptops, each is equal to 2 or 3 desktops to be honest but the above figure doesn't count that), 18 servers (14 physical and 4 virtual) covered by 5 staff (not including self ... I dont do tech support! I just go to meetings and annoy other NMs)

This figure does not include things like supporting online exams, the website (looked after mainl by a term-time only 20hours a week person), but does cover looking after 30+ projectors and most other AV kit.

340(ish) pupils

140 Workstations, 11 Pupil Laptops, 3 Servers inc sims server, about 30 (ish) staff laptops, new music studio (about to come online soon). Then the various projects we are involved in.

ICT support consists of Me and my line manager head of ict who takes some of slack when she can..

I would be interested in staffing levels within Leicestershire high schools (11 to14) if poss.

- Just over 1600 pupils

- 730 stations

- 130 Laptops

- 80 Admin network stations

- 12 Servers

- 1 x Autoloader

- Cisco Infrastructure

- 2 Technicians (FT) 1 x Senior ICT Tech and 1 x NM (FT)

We only look after the cleaning of air filters and some other issues of projectors but don't get involved in installation or finding out who to get it installed etc managed by someone else - thank god!

I also teach 16 lessons a week.

Find ICT resources and write lesson plans for every class in the school.

Setting up and running of a website.

E-safety sessions for parents.

Learning Platform.

Staff emails.

Anything to do with ICT is abruptly sent my way, they even asked me to change a fuse in a kettle once, they got a short sharp answer. :)
