The point I am trying to make is all kit is vulnerable at some point you live with it and do your best. If you don't want to be vulnerable turn all your kit off

 

Yep if you don't want to have any vulnerabilities then remove all access to/from Internet and block all forms of removable media. But on the same note you should not be introducing risks and should be mitigating and/or reducing the attack surface from any that you have.
