chinesewhispers Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) Some great features finally added recently: - Rotate text is now here in Sheets . - Autoplay video is now here in Slides (can't find a seperate announcement), along with trimming/clipping the video in slides (right click on the video and choose Video Options). - Insert a video from your Google Drive is now here in Slides. As well as the Vault for Drive, and Team Drive (already mentioned elsewhere on here) being released, it's been a good couple of weeks! Edited March 10, 2017 by chinesewhispers 1
PR-UK Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 So we have no control over who can create Team Drives and what they share, and although we can limit it to certain OUs that feature itself will expire 01/01/18 when everyone will be able to create one, I can see that spiralling out of control!

I would hope that just means it's currently an opt-in and after that date it will change to an opt-out.

Wait.... quite.... a...... while I wasted about an hour this morning, looking for further settings, logging in and out with different accounts before I spotted the bit that says "this will take around an hour to update" 😂 After about an hour, it appeared, just like the instructions said it would.... 1

mjk Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 yes it's strange they want to stop this after 2017 and I can't really imagine why, other than the engineers/designers don't work with children! If enough people send feedback in the admin console it can make a difference, assuming it isn't going to compromise a wider design goal.
