mikeprice Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Hi all Our photocopier/printer lease is coming to an end soon and the machines are getting a bit old I am happy with the compnay who maintain them but I would like to compare them price wise before I get the Head to sign anything so if any of you have good/bad experiences with and companies that supply photocopiers that are also used as printers (we only have 3 - 2 small B&W and 1 bigger colour) then I would be grateful to know about them plus any recommendations of course thanks Mike
mikeprice Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 p.s. if they are based in the North West then all the better!
Jehanzeb Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 If you are happy with your provider then why change or look for alternatives? Comparison would be worthwhile if you really want to either move away or neutrally compare....
Sydders01 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Hi, Can you try Midshire . Comparison would be worthwhile if you really want to either move away or neutrally compare.... purely price given the amount of printing/photocopying that we 'need' to do a 1p drop in the price would be significant also - if an alternative company comes in lower it gives us a way of arguing with our current lot bit like price comparison sites - but manual and taking a lot more time
browolf Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Printer & Photocopier Repair Manchester - ePrint Digital We used to be with M2. Our Admin manager (who does photocopying) was extremely nervous about dropping M2 support (she really trusted m2's support) for someone else but she's as happy with the support from eprint digital. They've replaced some old ricoh/nashuatec copiers with kyocera machines. Which are pretty amazing in comparison.
Jehanzeb Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 We use KMs here and all being well, print quality is amazing. I've setup user boxes for everyone and mapped them on their MacBooks along with account track. The only issue I have is their inability to produce good automated reports. The reporting feature is not user friendly and the.txt file export has to be played around with before making a sense. So if you're looking for good solid high quality machines and not too much worried about reporting then KM can play a vital role. I am meeting them on 9th, let me know (PM me your details) if you want me to pass your details to them. Regards J.
gpjt Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) ECO Printers Enabling color printing in your school at an affordable price! Go to their website and do the simple to use instant quote. It is really a unique product in that they use HP printers, but fit cables to the cartridges that are topped up. We have 5 on site and of course the main one in the ICT suite gets a battering, but as long as you keep an eye on the ink levels and get in touch for a top up it really is good value for money. There is a difference in the quality of print, but for a primary school it really is good enabling as many colour prints as you want for the price quoted. Oh if your interested i can put in touch with them and we both get recommendation bonuses!!! Edited March 10, 2017 by gpjt
