witch Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) We have just flattened the network and have to set up a couple of conditional forwarders for county They are set up fine but just don't work - the computer cannot connect. I can ping the address with no problems. The site doesn't seem to work though 10.224.48.210 Can anyone help? win Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Check if it can be accessed from a computer on the same 10.224.48.x subnet If it does work, then it must be a routing / firewall issue.
Cache Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Just a thought - are they supposed to be conditional forwarders or is that the actual IP it should be pointing too? Does a manual nslookup work if you do the following: nslookup server 10.224.48.210 dorsetcc.local If that returns a result atleast you know that the query can actually be resolved.
witch Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 I have an email from Dorset stating that I have to set up conditional forwarders, and according to my support people, it was set up this way on the old server. But something must be wrong somewhere. I don't have any other subnets!
