Hey,

We have everything but our file storage running as Hyper-V VMs, we do both file backups and VMs backups on and offsite and this works fine, but when it comes to testing backup integrity we have a bit of an issue with the VM backups. Although we can restore the vhd/vhdx files and the config settings from the backups, we can't run them to test the file integrity as it would cause a conflict on the network and domain.

How do people get around this?

thanks,

Josh
