Deploy Win 10 to Boot camp partition on Mac

Hey,

 

At work we are trying to slowly ween the media guys off the macs so wanted to show them that windows does exactly the same thing as the macs, by dual booting them and deploying our win10 image via sccm.

I can get the macs to boot to sccm via usb and start the imaging process, but it always fails on the unattend.xml step and i cannot seem to pinpoint the error.

 

Has anyone managed to do this and successfully use and unattend file on a windows deployment on mac hardware

How do you deploy the mac side? DeployStudio will happily deploy both OSX and Windows. I half remember someone worked out how to deploy a sccm image via DeployStudio, though it's possible I imagined that!

We use Casper to deploy the mac stuff.

As we already have casper id prefer to avoid adding another means of deployment into the mix, but will have a squiz at that too

We use casper and winclone pro. Winclone pro is able to take an image of a prebuilt windows bootcamp partition and you can then use casper to deploy this to the macs. I've not used windows 10 to do it but we did windows 7 in the summer holidays.
