Look at Azure backup, you can sign up for £125 credit to trail it for a month. Got it here and currently storing around 2.2 TB in the backup and its costing around £65 a month.

Ryan I use Amazon Web Services along with a program called CloudBerry. Cloudberry is the application which you can control your backups with - incremental, daily, weekly, whatever. You sync it with your amazon account and it will upload using your account. So you manage it like a normal on-site backup, but it goes to the Cloud and is a lot cheaper than some of the alternatives. Cloudberry is about $200 for the server edition which is up to 1TB (plus your amazon S3 costs). There are alternative apps you can use to upload to your amazon, azure accounts etc but CloudBerry is simple and cheap!

However, you get billed MORE for downloading more than uploading... If it is just for an emergency, it will be fine as chances are you won't actually need to download. So we do server to server to cloud so it will be unlikely we'll need to actually download anything! I've got rough prices back from Redstor, safedatastorage and Altinet (based in Leeds). Depending on how much data you want to get online, I've been quoted approximately £4500 for the year for around 10Tb (Note, this would only if I backed up EVERYTHING to the cloud, which I probably won't.) My realistic amount of critical data would be more around the 4Tb mark

With amazon they send the data encrypted, you have the option then to encrypt amazon drives as well - which I did.You need to enter a key to De-encrypt. - - - Updated - - - I'm looking into this too, but it will have to wait until Jan now for me to finalise things. I actually had 2 backups running - A nightly snapshot and a normal backup going back about 6 months. I used 2 G Suite accounts named CloudberryBackup1 & 2. 1

bwestlake Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 we use crashplan and pay i think its around £300 for the year and it is theoretically unlimited, started with 3tb and just asked them to double it to 6 and they had no problems
