I've downloaded the latest version on Windows 10 education from the volume licensing site and it says it's version 1511... I assume this is a thing? not version 10.xx The only thing is I'm about to install some ADMX templates to the GPO store and again I'm presented with the choice of downloading ADMX files for Windows 10 or 10 v1511?

Do I have the right version?

Latest version is actually v1607 ("Anniversary Update").

And yes its a thing, Win 10 versions are denoted as Windows 10 vXXXX

Additional information: Microsoft calls this versioning "Current Branch" and is already in use for Office 365, System Center, and now Windows. The version number follows a yymm format so 1511 was released in November 2015; 1607 was released in July 2016, etc.
