I'm having issues with this pack, both single player and on the server. I've no idea why, but I get 1-5 FPS whilst standing still with all settings at their lowest. Vanilla 1.10 works fine at ~300 FPS. I've updated my graphics drivers, played with the java settings, killed everything that isn't necessary...

 

Has anyone come across this already?

 

PC Specs:

L5520 Xeon quad core processor

12GB DDR3 RAM

ATI Radeon 6870 GPU

Yes, I'm having similar issues myself where FPS is rather low for this modpack but not any previous one we've played, nor vanilla 1.10 (which I've just tried now and works fine).

I have a few suggestions for the low FPS.

1. This pack recommends allocating 4GB to the game.

2. If your on Windows 10 turn off Game DVR.

3. This was for nvidia but... Get the graphics drivers direct, not microsoft and not auto detect your model.

The factory is under construction, but after looking at the pictures again, I need to add a few indentations and curves.

It is used to create fertiliser for forestry crop farms. You only need a bit to get going. After that you can cycle ash from burning peat back to your crop farms. At least that's how it used to work.

 

Which reminds me, @localzuk did you say you had tweaked the forestry config for square farms? What's the minimum size for such a farm?

Something's fundamentally wrong with Chisel since the update. Tried to chisel some wood, ended up with a stack of -93 (which when split, ended up at being a stack of around 200)

OK. So, if you made a chisel from before the update (from the Chisel mod, not the Chisel n bits mod), you need to throw it away and make a new one. The old ones are broken.

Anyone else's chisel only chiselling blocks one at a time? I was able to do it in stacks of 64 before the update.

 

Edit: Also, you need casts to cast tools (such as tool rod, pickaxe head, etc) but you need the tools to make the casts.. Seems like a catch 22 to me. Anybody care to explain?

Think FTB servers are having issues tonight. Currently downloading the update pack at 33KB/s. Like the good old days of dialup at the moment. It's just FTB servers as other sites are fast. Might be ready by tomorrow. lol

You can use a pattern with cobble to make stone parts, which you can then use to make a cast.
