Classroom headphones

We've got 5 sets of those Dynamode ones from ebuyer. 3 of them have broken boom mics - they just snap internally so they swing freely and don't stay in position. Then a couple of lessons later they fall out completely. We've had ours about 4 months but don't use the mics so I'm not bothered. The headphone themselves work fine and seem more robust, its just the mics that are flimsy.

 

Mics are what always seem to break here--not intentionally, they're just the bit that gets moved about a lot--so that's perfect info, thanks. This is why I love the Hills ones so much--the mic doesn't move. But alas...

But they've been out of stock since at least February, and aren't showing in stock until the end of June, and that date has slipped already.

 

Darn it didn't realise that, I've been waiting on delivery of 100 these. Can't wait till June so if you find a suitable alternative I'd love to know

For such a popular product, you'd think they'd up their game really, if not Hills, then their supplier. I had to wait a month or two for stock when I last got some!

We get them in bulk which brings the price down.

We try and buy different coloured batches to see how long each set lasts.

CPC all looked to be rubbish. Which doesn't mean there isn't the perfect product lurking somewhere on the site, hidden in an obscure category, but, well, CPC. That website exists in its own little bubble of 1996.

 

Thus far the best looking option I've seen are the Novatech gaming headsets, but head of MFL is currently looking at the budget and how desperately she needs them, in case she can wait till Hills have stock again.
