Yes that's the one.

I assume it is working fine for you then.

Malware was my first guess as well but have run scans and nothing shows up. I've also tried on several different computers on the network including a freshly built one but all of them get the same issue. It's only happening on this site as well which is strange.

Very odd. No pop-ups or anything here, at least on the homepage. Tried in a couple of browsers and separate proxies. Bugs me that the site is not secure though,

I've just checked with our internet supplier LGfL and they are getting the same problem as me. So at least I know it's not something on my school network!

You'd laugh if you looked at the source. Has a Javascript function to check if it's not secure (i.e.: not https), and to then goSecure(). However, the goSecure() function goes thru, inspects the address, goes thru the process of checking for presence of http:// and replacing it with https://, BUT, actually just replaces it with... http://

It's a badly written upsell site run by Digital River under affiliation, not run by MS themselves.

All UK staff and students are entitled to free access to Office direct from MS via Office365, which then gives them access to the downloadable versions via the O365 portal. No purchase necessary. No upsell site necessary.

PS: we DON'T go thru any GfL connection - and it works fine, no popups or issues. Behaves exactly as you'd expect it to.
