I'll soon be venturing into the field. Can anyone recommend a decent bag/box for organizing tools and spare parts?

I've got a Wilkinson tool bag crammed full of networking spares to take with me when I'm running a cable. Sadly it's miles too small to fit all the stuff I need in it.

 

I've seen technicians with bags similar to these before, which seem decent. I've also seen one chap with something like this, but it looked incredibly awkward to drag through places and get to site.

Like it a lot, but it's way too heavy to be carrying around as it's well loaded! Stays in the car and contains the "just in case" tools. TBH, most days I just have my laptop, a small "school" ziplock bag of bits, my Zalman Virtual CD/DVD hard drive and a multitool, torch and multi-head precision screwdriver in one of these: https://www.niteize.com/product/Clip-Pock-Its-XL-Utility-Holster.asp

 

I did like the look of doing something modular like: DEWALT UNITED KINGDOM | but was way too expensive.

Most builders / general tradesmen who travel on the Tube seem to favour either the stiff-sided canvas bag type of thing (like that Wilko bag, above) or a wheeled lugage trolley - they seem to manage to get them up and down stairs okay, but make sure you go for something with a decent heavy-duty handle. I suggest the best place to compare and contrast styles is the Northern line at about 6:30am.

The theory is that all the tools I need for a particular task ("cable tidying", "drilling holes", "fixing the laminator again") can be kept in one handy roll, so you can grab just the tools you need for a particular task, or they can even be labled for other people to borrow without mixing my entire toolbox around.
