Is there anywhere with the bits and bobs about the Joomla Edugeek terms and conditions. Does edugeek have specific changes to it's terms above and beyond the joomla terms, or do you have to use the same?

 

My basic question is, can I create a personal/business website using the edugeek joomla package?

Just to note standard open source rules apply depending on which version of the GPL or lGPL Joomla are using to develop the source under.

 

The short version is that any attribution needs to remain in the code, the code must ALWAYS be available and provided to the end user and that you can't charge for access to said code. You can charge for distribution and for services pertaining to the installation or modification of the code but you can't say "it's all my own work".

 

... and as noted it's always polite to pay back to the project if you're getting monetary reward for your own work..
