All Inclusive

So, I always said to myself I would never do an all inclusive holiday, but with two young kids it makes sense - daddy, daddy, I want an ice cream...

 

I was looking at prices and looks like we can afford upto £3k all inclusive. 10 nights.

 

So any recommendations from anyone?

We went here in summer for 10 days all inclusive. Mrs me and 2 kids. Was just under £3000 and we had a great time!

Been with both Thomson and First Choice in the past, both were fine. Our requirements for all-inclusive were perhaps a little more student-y (read: beer) but prices were good.

We booked a Magaluf all-inclusive hotel (9 nights) via Alpharooms in August 2014 a week before leaving. Flights bought via Ryanair and transfer via HolidayExtras (I think). For three of us lads it was £550 each for EVERYTHING including private taxi from airport etc. Edited September 14, 2016 by dry

Do a cruise. My parents drive to Southampton where someone unloads their luggage, parks the car for them and they just open the door to their cabin to be greeted by their clothing and luggage unpacked and put away. Food is included and available all hours of the day. Bring spending money for the bar though.

We were in exactly the same position as you, we decided to do the all inclusive just so we didn't have to say no to all the requests for ice cream/drink etc etc. We took our eldest two when they were 7 & 10 I think and they had a great time with the various kids clubs and things, which gave me and the wife some time without them as well :-)

Accommodation was nice, there was evening entertainment (which my Brother was doing when we went which was part of the reason for choosing it), food was mainly buffet which meant the kids could basically have what they wanted although I think there was a pizza place as well by the pool that did takeaway pizza stuff.

That looks ace, and my lad who is 3, would love that pirate ship. Unfortunately way out our price range!

Gutted....it must have gone up in price then as we paid about £2500 for a week there in school holidays :-(

Hi,

 

If you fancy something later in the year (October Half Term) I can personally recommend the Bahia Principe Adeje in Tenerife, it is still warm in October that far south and there is a lot to do... Water park, big volcano and a pretty cool zoo on the Island. The food at this hotel is very very good and highly varied, you probably won't get bored of the selection if thats the kind of worries you have about all inclusive. Bahia Principe Hotels, the only tour operator to go to this hotel without doing it yourself (always risky because no ATOL) is Thomas Cook, we booked through a booking agent of Thomas Cook's called Purple Travel http://purpletravel.co.uk, Lorraine is very helpful and always works to get the best price. We have been here twice now with our young daughter and she has loved it both times...
